Shakur: “I See a Lot of Weaknesses in Teofimo. He Won’t Fix Them Overnight”

WBC Lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson shared his expectations for the duel against WBO and The Ring Super Lightweight titleholder Teofimo Lopez.

“I didn't have to take this fight. I could have just stayed at the Lightweight limit.

He is a very good fighter, but I see a lot of weaknesses in him. He won't fix them overnight. It will be the same Teo we saw before,” said Shakur.

The duel between Shakur Stevenson (24-0, 11 KOs) and Teofimo Lopez (22-1, 13 KOs) will take place on January 31 at Madison Square Garden in New York, USA. Teofimo’s titles will be on the line.
