Jermell Charlo: “Returning to Welterweight”

Former undisputed world champion American Jermell Charlo announced a change of weight category.

“Returning to Welterweight. I don't have time, damn it, for all this waiting and talking. I can literally prove it: since January 2024 I have been asking for a fight with anyone who says they are the best in the Super Welterweight division,” wrote Charlo.

Jermell Charlo (35-2-1, 19 KOs) last entered the ring in September 2023, when he lost to Canelo Alvarez by unanimous decision.
